EBFC Schedules New Dates for Reaching IN Reaching OUT Resiliency Training
Reaching IN... Reaching OUT (RIRO) is an evidence based two-part skill training program designed to help adults help young children develop a resilient view about life. RIRO's training uses a cognitive behavioural and social problem-solving approach based on the Penn Resilience Program.
Part 1 introduces adults to key resiliency research findings and resiliency skills.
Part 2 helps adults apply the skills directly with children - putting children on the road to resilience.
The next EBFC RIRO Training will take place on Friday February 4 and Friday February 18, 2011 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at The George Hull Centre for Children and Families, 3rd Floor.
This training is offered at no cost to staff of EBFC partner organizations; however participants MUST be able to attend both dates in full to register.
Click here to register your space before January 4, 2011.
PLEASE NOTE: We can accept ONE registration per EBFC partner agency up to a maximum of 15 participants. Registration is on a first come, first served basis so register early to avoid disappointment!
SORRY - Registration for this training is now full. Please check back to this sight for spring training dates after March 15, 2011.
